When you got a "T" visa, you can extend one month from the 30th date you arrive Cambodia. If you got an "E" visa, you can select a 1month 3months 6months or 1year visa extension. For 6months and 1year visa extension you have multiple entries. For 1month and 3months extension you have only a single entry.

In Phnom Penh don't miss the grand Royal Palace. Take a photo with Independent Monument. Go to ride elephant at Wat Phnom, called as "Monkey Hill". No other street is more popular than Sisowath in Phnom Penh. More than 50coffee shops bars restaurants joint to this street. You can find any kind of food such as European Chinese Thai Vietnam food in the street. Most of shops open until deep night so that don’t worry about no place to you’re your dinner. After one day's walk to find a massage would be a good idea. Most massage provided by hotel is not bad. For young tourists to have a drink and dance at nightclubs in Siem Reap would be great and there you can learn Cambodian traditional and modern dances. Make an appointment with your driver and leave more tips to him so you no need to worry how to return to your hotel.

Rice becomes the main food to Cambodians living in cities. But for breakfast they take noodles or rice noodles. Have a taste of Cambodian Sour Soup and salted fish (take with water melon), which are two popular food of Khmer style. Cambodian well-known fruits are civet durian and Lubjao, which symbolize the King and Queen among fruits. Most of the fruits planted in Cambodia are not so sweet so that they are very suitable to old people. Fruits meal is more popular in big cities than some other soft drink and much cheaper. Fruits meal is a combination of 14 fruits of pieces in one dish and put soft ice with egg milk above. Natives take fruits meal with bread as their lunch. Another kind of drink is also popular called "DeCola" which 14 fruits was mixed and made to juice. Then mix with soft ice and egg milk. Have a taste of DeCola and try to tell what kind of fruits in this cool and delicious drink. If you like coffee or tea you can go to Street Sisawoth. There you can find many European coffee shops and restaurants. Sisawoth Street locates beside Mekong River so even at night many tourists can still enjoy their dinner and river sights in shops. It's also convenient for them to live in some guesthouses in this street. Other areas in Phnom Penh you can find all kinds of restaurants like Chinese Thai Vietnam Japanese restaurants. Cross river there are a lot of Large Khmer food restaurants, inside which they have shows performance include singing, dancing and comic short play that can attract many local people.

Many guests Houses locate in Center of Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. They contain air-con and TV and toilet and receptionists almost can speak English. If you would like to live better book three star hotels before you come. Especially in high travel season during Nov to Feb. Hotels would probably fully booked. Most of guesthouses and hotels offer laundry but not free. Suggest to tell hotel in advance your flight schedule for check out so that they have time to arrange late check or keep luggage for you. There are not many deluxe hotels in Phnom Penh but many in Siem Reap. So don’t worry if you want a deluxe holiday.

Two traditional markets in Phnom Penh, Central Market and Russian Market. Central market is one of the main markets for citizen. It got a history of above 100 years. Central Market combines many mini markets like flowers, clothes, pearl & gold, home appliance, vegetable & meats, fruits etc. Russian Market sell all kinds of clothes most of which come from the stock of garment factories in Phnom Penh. In Russian Market you find souvenir shops and CD shops. If you just want to buy souvenirs you can go Hinghing Jewelry and Gold Shop or Bailen Jewelry & Souvenirs, where you can buy all kind of souvenirs and pearls. Or you can go to street 178, which called Souvenir Street. Most popular souvenirs are woodcarving and silk cloth and jewels.

US dollars are as commonly used as the Cambodian riel and even Thai baht is acceptable in many places. Most hotels and many restaurants and shops set their prices in dollars. Small transactions are usually done in riel. Always carry some small riel for motorcycle taxis, snacks, beggars and other small purchases.
Riel notes come in 100, 200, 500, 1000, 5000, 10,000, 50,000 and 100,000 denominations, but the distinctive red 500 riel note is the most commonly used. 
Credit cards and travelers checks are not common but are catching on. US dollar travelers' checks are much more easily encashed than any other kind.
